From hereon, let every words uttered be sweet
Otherwise, give the extra breath to withstand the warts
Lord, it’s you who beholds our priceless minds
You sent me he, whom I’ve chosen to forever cherish
Whom I never find myself straining to be present with,
As I do when we’re not palling around
And so, I profess with my own mouth
The one thing guaranteed to bring me joy —
His affection, at all times
Again, let the said man be my solution to aloneness
Let him open his heart completely
And realize that all I do is based on emotions
Par adventure, when arguments arise,
Let it remain about what is being disagreed upon
And never a question of being suited for each other.
