Age breeds wisdom
And so does marriage
A wise friend once told me
“You don’t have to marry who you love,
But you must love who you marry”
I had to muse on it a little before I fully understood
Another friend said
“The reason people fall out of love is because they forget why they fell in love in the first place”
Therefore, I’m ready to wait for that feeling you had in the start
Just as you were ready to wait for me
It’s okay if we take baby steps for now
I have faith that we’ll soon graduate into that great place we were.
