There are so many beautiful people in this world. It is hard to see through the beauty of a person or thing because it is plastered by catastrophe. The vicissitudes of life is worrisome. One minute our supposed mapped out life is steady and heading in the right direction and we’re, for that reason, happy — to an extent, since happiness can never reach its peak.

I try to think about happy things such as the smell of coffee, kisses when you’re absolutely in love, laugher, babies when they smile for no reason, snow, raindrops, dreams, the taste of bacon, etc.

In solitude, I ponder on pain as it relates to fate. I mean, no one wants or hopes to suffer. I think I am speaking for everyone, and rightly doing so, if I say that in one’s right mind, we don’t plan for failure or pain. Sure, different things bring about pain, but the ones that are often overlooked or the ones that hurt the most is putting in all we’ve got and at the end of the day, feeling empty.

I watched a movie this night about a fairly young man who worked hard to achieve success only to die just when he had barely started enjoying the beginning stages of his success. Now, that’s what I call fate. By the way, it is a true life story.
