There are times I want to scream

And let the whole world know how blessed I am

To have the most caring man

In the entire universe

But being the low-key you are

Understanding lover I am

I respect that our relationship is our business

And if you prefer to be under the radar

For whatever reason

Then we’ll live our lives privately

All I care about is us, anyway

And starting a clean slate with the loveliest man that exists

While I’m at it, I’ll study your gaze

The moment, we become one

Same feather;

Two wings;

Each paired

That day, I await

The day you say “I do”

The day we’ll both be dressed in white

It’ll be us against the world

I’ll breathe at the pace you do

And if you lag behind, I’ll be able to sense from afar

You’ll share your utmost desires

And we’ll combine ideas

Let’s start a clean slate

Let every dawn be anew

And let’s forever cherish one another.
